Bush Bean Joy (Khato Borboti) Seeds | High Yield Green Yardlong Bush Bean Seeds for Home Gardens

Bush Bean Joy (Khato Borboti) Seeds produce vigorous bush-type plants loaded with average long, slender, tender green pods that are ideal for home gardening and fresh kitchen harvests. This premium Asian average long bean variety is widely appreciated for its fast maturity, heavy productivity, attractive green pods, and reliable performance in warm-weather gardens across the USA.

Scientifically known as Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis, this vegetable is commonly recognized by several popular names including Yardlong Bean, Long Bean, Chinese Long Bean, Snake Bean, Asparagus Bean, and Khato Borboti. It is highly valued in Asian, Caribbean, and international cuisines for its crisp texture, mild flavor, and versatile culinary use.

Bush Bean Joy develops vigorous compact plants that produce abundant smooth green pods measuring approximately 32–38 cm long. Each pod averages around 17 grams and maintains a tender, fiber-light texture when harvested young. The variety matures quickly in approximately 45 days from sowing, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking early harvests and continuous production throughout the growing season.

Unlike traditional climbing yardlong beans, this bush-style variety is easier to manage and works exceptionally well in smaller gardens, raised beds, patio containers, and urban vegetable gardening setups. Its compact growth habit combined with high yield performance makes it perfect for beginner gardeners and experienced growers alike.

The fresh green pods are excellent for stir-fries, sautéed dishes, curries, soups, steaming, and fresh market harvesting. Bush Bean Joy is especially popular among gardeners looking for productive, fast-growing Asian vegetable varieties with reliable warm-season performance.
